Anne Hathaway Fought With Valentino Over Her Wedding Dress?
It makes sense that actress Hathaway will have had to don a few costumes she hasn't liked over the past - just look at her ensemble in 'Les Mis' if you don't believe us - but, when it came to her wedding dress, we had hoped she'd been in charge of her fairytale "I do" gown.
However, in a recent interview with Vogue, the actress explained that she and long-time friend Valentino found it difficult to reach an agreement over the design of her stunning vintage-inspired wedding gown.
"I begged him during the first fitting to make the train detachable. He looked at me and said, ‘But it is a dress, not a costume.’”
However, in the end, the actress threw up her hands and let Valentino take control - and it turns out she's very happy she did!
“He somehow read my mind and designed the dress that I’d always wanted."
It seems as if Anne Hathaway has made a habit of falling in love with a new look after originally fearing she'd hate it - the stunning 'Devil Wears Prada' star was forced to cut off her chestnut locks for her recent role in 'Les Mis' - and now she's revealed she likes her new pixie cut so much that she's going to keep it:
"I love the short-haired lifestyle... I’m turning 30, and — I hope this isn’t obnoxious to say — I feel prettier, and much more myself. I guess I just feel much more satisfied with less now."
We're loving her adapt-and-evolve attitude!
